Samsung announced a big price drop on its Galaxy A31. The smartphone is now available for ₹17,999 for the 6GB/128GB variant across retail stores, Samsung Opera House, Samsung.com and leading online portals. The Galaxy A31 had launched in India in June this year with a price tag of ₹21,999.
The Galaxy A31 comes with a 6.4-inch Infinity-U sAMOLED display with 1080x2400 pixels full HD+ resolution. The phone runs on a MediaTek octa-core processor clocked up to 2.2Hz processor coupled with 6GB of RAM and 128GB built-in storage.
For the cameras, the rear panel houses a combination of a 48-megapixel primary sensor, 5-megapixel depth sensor, 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle sensor, and 5-megapixel macro sensor. The rear camera can record full HD videos at 30fps. It also supports up to 8x digital zoom. On the front, it comes with a 20-megapixel selfie camera.
It supports additional storage up to 512GB via a microSD card. The phone also ships with a Game Booster mode. On the software front, it runs on Android 10-based OneUI operating system. A 5,000mAh battery with 15W charging support powers the phone.
The Galaxy A31 comes in Prism Crush Blue, Black and White colour options. The smartphone measures 159.3 x 73.1 x 8.6mm and weighs around 185 grams.
Other important features of the Galaxy A31 smartphone are dual-SIM, USB Type-C, GPS, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac 2.4+5GHz, Bluetooth 5.0, NFC, and 3.5mm headphone jack.
