OnePlus has been launched its latest smartphone in Indian market, called the OnePlus 9. The handset features full-HD+ Fluid Display AMOLED display, Snapdragon 888 SoC and 4,500mAh battery.
The OnePlus 9 comes equipped with a 6.55-inch full-HD+ Fluid Display AMOLED display with 1,080×2,400 pixels resolution, 20:9 aspect ratio, and 120Hz refresh rate. It is protected by a 3D Corning Gorilla Glass.
The OnePlus 9 gets an octa-core Snapdragon 888 SoC paired with 8GB and 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 128GB and 256GB of UFS 3.1 which is not expandable. There is also a multi-layered cooling system called the OnePlus Cool Play.
As for the cameras, you get a triple rear camera setup with a combination of a 48-megapixel Sony IMX689 main sensor, with an f/1.8 lens and electronic image stabilization (EIS), a 50-megapixel Sony IMX766 secondary sensor with an ultra-wide-angle f/2.2 Freeform lens, and a 2-megapixel monochrome sensor. Upfront, there is a 16-megapixel Sony IMX471 camera with an f/2.4 lens.
OnePlus 9 runs on Android 11-based OxygenOS 11 skin. Connectivity options on the smartphone include 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, GPS/ A-GPS, NFC, and a USB Type-C port. There is also an in-display fingerprint sensor.
Backed by a 4,500mAh battery, the handset supports Warp Charge 65T fast charging. The North American and European versions of the OnePlus 9 also come with 15W Qi wireless charging. The company has provided dual stereo speakers along with Dolby Atmos support. It measures 160×73.9×8.1mm and weighs 183 grams.
In terms pf pricing, the OnePlus 9 price in India starts at Rs 49,999 for the 8GB + 128GB variant while the 12GB + 256GB storage model comes with a price tag of Rs. 54,999. The smartphone comes in Arctic Sky, Astral Black, and Winter Mist color options. The device is available for pre-order via the OnePlus online store.
