Asus ZenFone 8 smartphone was launched on 12th May 2021. The handset features a 5.90-inch touchscreen display, Snapdragon 888 processor, 64-megapixel primary camera and 4000mAh battery with fast charging supports.

The Asus ZenFone 8 comes with a 5.90-inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 1080x2400 pixels and an aspect ratio of 20:9. The smartphone measures 148.00 x 68.50 x 8.90mm (height x width x thickness) and weighs 169.00 grams.

Under the hood, the Asus ZenFone 8 is powered by a 2.84GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 processor. It comes with 6GB of RAM. The smartphone runs on Android 11 and is powered by a 4000mAh battery. The Asus ZenFone 8 supports proprietary fast charging.

The Asus ZenFone 8 on the rear packs a 64-megapixel primary camera with an f/1.8 aperture and a pixel size of 0.8-micron, and a 12-megapixel camera with an f/2.2 aperture and a pixel size of 1.4-micron. The rear camera setup has phase detection autofocus. It sports a 12-megapixel camera on the front for selfies with a 1.22-micron aperture. The front camera also features autofocus.

The Asus ZenFone 8 runs ZenUI 8 is based on Android 11 operating system and packs 128GB of inbuilt storage. The handset is a dual-SIM (GSM and GSM) smartphone that accepts Nano-SIM and Nano-SIM cards. 

Connectivity options on the Asus ZenFone 8 smartphone include Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/Yes, GPS, Bluetooth v5.20, NFC, USB Type-C, FM radio, 3G, and 4G (with support for Band 40 used by some LTE networks). The handset supports face unlock.

Sensors on the  Asus ZenFone 8 include accelerometer, ambient light sensor, compass/ magnetometer, gyroscope, proximity sensor, and in-display fingerprint sensor. It was launched in Obsidian Black, Horizon Silver, and Moonlight White colours.
