Huawei has launched its new Android tablet, called the Honor Tab X7 in its home country China. The tablet comes in three configurations.
Honor Tab X7 fitted with an 8 inch IPS display that offers 1280×800 pixels screen resolution and a screen to body ratio of up to 80 percent. The bezel measures in at just 4.9mm at the narrowest to offer users a more immersive visual experience and weighs 325 grams.
Moreover, the kids’ version of the tablet comes loaded with in-built education-based software and features to help in the academic growth of children. Additionally, the company offers various multitasking and integrated multi-window functionality.
In addition to that, it comes with a certified display from the Chinese National Eye Engineering Center for Eye Care and a Rheinland Low Blue Light Certification. The tablet packs a MediaTek MT8768T processor and ships with Magic UI 4.0 custom skin.
It has a 2-megapixel selfie camera. On the rear, you get a 5-megapixel camera sensor. It gets a long-lasting 5,100mAh battery which is claimed to offer HD video playback of up to 10 hours or 88 hours of non-stop audio playback as well.
In terms of pricing, the WiFi-only model with 3GB RAM and 32GB storage is priced at 899 Yuan (approx. Rs 10,301), while the higher-end model with 3GB RAM + 32GB storage that supports 4G LTE costs 1,199 Yuan (approx. Rs 13,739) but with support for 4G LTE as well. There is also a children’s version that is priced at 999 Yuan (approx. Rs 11,378).
