Oppo has announced the launch of a new smartphone, dubbed as Oppo K9 5G, the handset will be initially available in China. Oppo K9 5G is the successor to the K7 5G, which had launched last year.
Oppo K9 5G comes with a 6.43-inch display with a punch-hole cutout, AMOLED panel, full HD+ resolution, 90Hz refresh rate, 144Hz touch sampling rate, and 20:9 aspect ratio. The phone also comes with an in-screen fingerprint reader.
Oppo K9 5G runs on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 768 processor. The phone comes in 8GB of RAM (LPDDR4x) and up to 256GB of built-in storage. There is also a microSD card slot that supports expandable storage. On the software front, it runs on Android 11-based ColorOS 11.1.
Oppo K9 5G comes with a 32-megapixel selfie camera. On the back, it houses a quad-camera setup that consists of a 64-megapixel primary sensor, an 8-megapixel ultrawide sensor with a 119-degree field of view, and a 2-megapixel macro sensor.
It packs a 4,300mAh battery with 65W fast charging support. The company claims the phone can get fully charged in 35 minutes with the fast charger. Connectivity options on the phone are 5G, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS, USB Type-C support, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
In terms of pricing, the Oppo K9 5G comes in three variants with a starting price of 1,999 Yuan ( ₹22,700 approximately). It comes in Spades K and Wings of Symphony colour options.
