Xiaomi has added a new smartphone in the Redmi Note 10 series, called Redmi Note 10 JE which is a tweaked version of Redmi Note 10 5G. As of now, the handset has been launched in Japan. It is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 480 chipset instead of MediaTek Dimensity 700 SoC.It is also backed by a 4,800mAh battery that supports fast charging. 

The Redmi Note 10 JE brings a 6.5-inch full-HD+ display with a 90Hz refresh rate, 360-degree ambient light sensor, and 1,500:1 contrast rate. It has a hole-punch on the front penal for a selfie camera and a rectangular-curved camera module on the backside. Under the hood, it is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 480 SoC along with Adreno 619 GPU. The storage capacity is further expandable via a microSD card (up to 1TB). It has 4GB of LPDDR4x RAM and 64GB of UFS 2.2 storage. 

The Redmi Note 10 JE comes with a triple camera setup on the back that features a 48MP primary sensor with an f/1.79 aperture, a 2MP macro sensor with an f/2.4 aperture, and a 2MP depth sensor with an f/2.4 aperture. On the front, it offers an 8MP camera for selfies and video calling. The smartphone is backed by a 4,800mAh battery that supports 18W fast charging. 

The Redmi Note 10 JE comes with a single SIM card tray and runs on Android 11 based MIUI 12.5 OS out of the box. On the connectivity side, it brings 5G, 4G LTE, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v5.1, GPS, and a 3.5mm audio jack. The smartphone also has a USB Type-C port and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. Other sensors include accelerometer, gyroscope, proximity sensor, and infrared. The dimensions are 163 x 76 x 9mm and weigh 200 grams.

The company has not shared the pricing details for the Redmi Note 10 JE. Though, Xiaomi has confirmed that the new device will come with a single 4GB of RAM with 64GB of internal storage variant. It will go on sale in Japan starting August 13. The smartphone will be available in Chrome Silver and Graphite Grey color options.
