South Korean tech giant Samsung is launching nowadays various type of smartphones in the Indian market. The company has launched another mid-range smartphone in India, called Samsung Galaxy F42 5G. The handset price starts at Rs. 20,999 and key highlights are MediaTek Dimensity 700 chipset, a 90Hz display, a 64MP triple camera setup, and a massive 5,000mAh battery.

The Samsung Galaxy F42 5G is offering a 6.6-inch full-HD+ infinity-V display with a 90Hz refresh rate and 1080 x 2400 pixels resolution. The display also comes with a waterdrop-style notch for the selfie camera. For security, a side-mounted fingerprint sensor and face unlock feature will keep safe your data. The phone has a MediaTek Dimensity 700 SoC which is clocked at 2.2GHz octa-core CPU along with Mali G57 GPU. The F42 5G is paired with up to 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. 

The Samsung Galaxy F42 5G features triple rear camera sensors. The rear sensors are a 64MP main camera with night mode, 5MP ultra-wide-angle sensor, and a 2MP bokeh lens. As for the selfie camera, it gets an 8MP front camera for selfies and video calling. Samsung has provided a 5,000mAh battery for the device that supports 15W fast charging technology.

The Samsung Galaxy F42 5G provides Android 11 Operating System with OneUI 3.1 on the top. The storage capacity can be expanded via a microSD card (up to 1TB). Connectivity options on the smartphone are 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v5.0, and USB Type-C. There is also a 3.5mm audio jack in the device and Dolby Atmos sound support. 

The Samsung Galaxy F42 5G price in India starts at Rs. 20,999 for the base 6GB RAM with 128GB ROM model. The F42 5G also has an 8GB RAM model that carries a price tag of Rs. 22,999. It will be available in two color options, i.e. Matte Aqua, and Matte Black. It will go on sale in India starting Sunday, October 3 via Flipkart, Samsung.com, and select retail stores.
