Infinix Mobile has launched a new smartphone in Indian market, called the Infinix Smart 5. However, the company released the global version of Infinix Smart 5 back in August 2020. The main key attraction features of the handsets are a larger display, MediaTek Helio G25 processor, and a 6,000mAh battery. It carries an affordable price tag which is mentioned below.
The Infinix Smart 5 has a larger 6.82-inch HD+ IPS display with a waterdrop notch design. The display comes with a 90.66% screen-to-body ratio and a 20.5:9 aspect ratio with a brightness of 440 nits. The big screen will help you to provide a better video calling experience. Under the hood, it is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio G25 chipset clocked at 2.0GHz along with an IMG PowerVR GPU.
As far as the cameras are concerned, the Infinix Smart 5 supports a dual rear camera setup that includes a 13MP primary sensor with a low light sensor AI dual camera. The rear camera features auto scene detection and slo-mo video. On the front side, there is an 8MP selfie camera with an f/2.0 aperture. for security options, The fingerprint sensor is located on the back penal.
Some more important things, the Infinix Smart 5 runs on Android 10 with the company’s own XOS 7 UI on the top. The smartphone comes with a dual-SIM slot. In terms of dimensions, the handset measures 171.82 height, 77.96mm width, 8.9mm depth, and 207 grams weight. The device also has a micro-USB port to connect the charger and data transfer.
Infinix Smart 5 features a larger 6,000mAh battery that delivers up to 24hrs backup on continuous video playback and 55days of standby time. Connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, and GPS. As for memory and storage features, it has 2GB RAM with 32GB of internal storage while you can expand its storage capacity through a microSD card (up to 256GB).
As for the pricing and availability, the Infinix Smart 5 is available in a single variant, a 2GB RAM with 32GB internal storage which has been priced at Rs. 7,199. You can purchase this device via Flipkart and the sale starts from 18th February, 12 noon. Infinix Smart 5 comes in four color variants, i.e. Aegean Blue, Morandi Green, Obsidian Black, and Purple.
