Lenovo-owned brand, Motorola might be gearing up to launch a new G-series smartphone in the country. As per the latest leak by tipster Yogesh Brar, the company will launch the Moto G71 smartphone in the second week of January. To recall, the Moto G71 was announced a couple of months back, along with the Moto G31, Moto G41, and Moto G51 5G.

The Motorola Moto G71 5G flaunts a 6.43-inch Full HD+ OLED display with a 1080 x 2400 pixel resolution, DCI-P3 color gamut, and punch hole notch. Under the hood, the smartphone is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 processor that brings 5G connectivity along with. The processor is built on an 8nm fabrication process and comes coupled with Adreno 619L GPU. It comes with 6GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 128GB of UFS 2.1 storage.

As far as the cameras are concerned, the Motorola Moto G71 5G offers a triple-rear camera setup and an LED flash. The primary sensor on the device is a 50MP shooter with an f/1.8 aperture. It gets accompanied by an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens with f/2.2 aperture and a 2MP macro lens with f/2.4 aperture. For selfies and video calls, the Moto G-series handset offers a 16MP shooter.

The Motorola Moto G71 5G is equipped with a 5,000mAh battery unit and 30W fast charging support. The smartphone has a Type-C charging port, a 3.5mm audio jack, a rear-mounted capacitive fingerprint scanner, and Dolby Atmos support. Connectivity options include Dual-sim, 5G, 4G, Dual-band Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 5.0, NFC, GPS, GLONASS, and Beidou. 

The Motorola Moto G71 5G also has P2i coating that makes it water repellent. As for color options, the smartphone comes in three color variants – Neptune Green, Arctic Blue, and Iron Black. In terms of dimensions, it weighs 179grams and measures 161.2 x 73.9 x 8.5 mm. In terms of pricing, The handset costs €300 in the European countries that translates to about Rs. 25,430.
