Realme launched a new variant of its laptop, called the Realme Book Enhanced Edition which comes with upgraded design and hardware. Today, the new laptop is officially available for purchase in the Chinese market, for a starting price of 4,699 yuan which is around $737. The company is providing two years of warranty with the laptop including a one-year battery warranty for the device.

Similar to the original model, the new Realme Book Enhanced Edition retains the metallic body, mirror brand logo, and backlit keyboard design. In terms of display, the new laptop form realme features a 14-inch LCD display with a 2K screen resolution of 2160 x 1440 pixels, and a 3:2 aspect raio.

Under the hood, the Realme Book Enhanced Edition comes powered by the 11th generation Intel Core i5-11320H processor, coupled with 16GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 512GB of PCIe SSD storage. Taking care of the graphics need is the integrated Intel Iris Xe GPU.

The company is claiming a multi-core increase in the CPU by 21.8 percent and a GPU increase by 68 percent. The Realme Book Enhanced Edition also comes with a Super VC cooling system which is claimed to improve the heat dissipation speed by 32.7 percent. The laptop comes pre-installed with the Windows 11 OS operating system. 

As for the battery, the Realme Book Enhanced Edition is powered by a 54Whr battery that the company says can provide up to 11 hours of usage. There’s also support for 65W super-fast charging that can charge the battery up to 50 percent within 30 minutes.

As for pricing and availability, the Realme Book Enhanced Edition price has been set at CNY 4,699 (roughly Rs. 55,000) in China for the sole 12GB RAM + 512GB storage option. The laptop comes in Sky Blue and Island Grey colour options. It is currently up for pre-orders in the home country and will go on sale starting January 7.
