Realme GT 2 smartphone was launched in China on Tuesday, January 4. It carries a priced of CNY 2,699 (roughly Rs. 31,700) and will be available in China starting January 4. The new handset is equipped with a full-HD+ AMOLED display, a Snapdragon 888 SoC, and also a 50-megapixel triple camera setup. The device also will run on Android 12, with the company's Realme UI 3.0 skin on top.

The Realme GT 2 comes with a 6.62-inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 1440x2400 pixels. Under the hood, the smartphone is equipped with a Snapdragon 888 SoC launched recently, paired with up to 12GB of RAM and up to 256GB of storage. At the heart, the handset runs on Android 12 OS with the company's Realme UI 3.0 skin on top. 

As far as the cameras are concerned, the Realme GT 2 on the rear packs a triple camera setup featuring a 50-megapixel primary camera; an 8-megapixel camera, and a 2-megapixel camera. It has a single front camera setup for selfies and video calls, featuring a 16-megapixel sensor. The smartphone is equipped with a 5,000mAh battery with support for 65W charging over a USB Type-C port.

The Realme GT 2 comes with the company's new industrial heat dissipation technology and stainless steel vapour cooling, which is said to offer cooling of up to 3℃ for maximum performance. In terms of dimensions, the smartphone measures 162.90 x 75.80 x 8.60mm (height x width x thickness) and weighs 198.90 grams.

On the connectivity front, Realme GT 2 comes with Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/ax, GPS, Bluetooth v5.10, NFC, and USB Type-C connectivity. Sensors on the smartphone include accelerometer, ambient light sensor, gyroscope, proximity sensor, and in-display fingerprint sensor. The handset will be available in Paper Green, Paper White, Steel Black and Titanium Blue colour options.
