Vivo has just launched two new smartphones in China, Vivo S9 5G and Vivo S9e 5G – successor to the Vivo S7 comes with a new design and improved specs. Here we are talking about Vivo S9, it features a triple rear camera and dual front-facing camera, both provides a better combination of capturing pictures in different conditions. It is capable to give 5G connectivity to users. It is a mid-range device that comes with MediaTek’s Dimensity 1100 SoC.
The Vivo S9 5G comes with a AMOLED display with a Full-HD+ resolution, 1080 x 2400 pixels. talking about its size, it has a 6.44-inch a notch penal. The penal comes with a 90Hz refresh rate and 20:9 body ratio. The smartphone has a larger rectangular shape camera module on rear side and a fingerprint sensor embedded into the display. The device is powered by a 4,000 mAh battery and supports 33W fast charging technology.
The Vivo S9 5G sports a triple camera setup in rear penal including a 64MP primary camera with an F1.79 lens, an 8MP ultra-wide secondary camera with an F2.2 lens, and a 2MP macro camera with an F2.4 lens. The rear camera features are night scene, portrait, panorama, dual-view video, and slow motion. The front side has also better camera sensors which measure a 44MP primary camera with an F2.0 lens and an 8MP wide-angle camera with an F2.28 lens.
Under the hood, The Vivo S9 5G is powered by a octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 1100 SoC along with Mali G77 GPU. It is paired with either 8GB of RAM or 12GB of RAM. Unfortunately, you can’t expand its storage capacity. In terms of connectivity, the smartphone offers 5G, 4G, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 5.2, GPS, NFC, USB Type-C. However, It doesn’t have a 3.5mm headphone jack.
The Vivo S9 5G is offering two variants, 8GB RAM+128GB internal memory base model and 12GB RAM+256GB top-end model. The base variant carries a price tag of CNY 2,999 and the top variant comes at Rs. CNY 3,299. It will be available from March 12 in China. So far, there is no information about the global release date of Vivo S9 5G. The handset has three beautiful color options, i.e. Aurora Blue, Midnight Blue, and White.
