Vivo X50 Pro is the first smartphone to have a Gimbal Camera system in a smartphone. Vivo also launched another model Vivo X50 in India, X50 has similar specifications to X50 Pro, X50 doesn’t have a Gimbal system as X50 Pro and also X50 has 730G chipset while X50 Pro has 765G chipset that means Vivo X50 Pro is 5G while X50 is not.

Vivo X50 Pro features a 6.56 inches AMOLED Display with a 90Hz fast refresh rate and has a resolution of Full HD+ (1080 X 2376 pixels). Under the hood, the smartphone is powered with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G octa-core processor with Adreno 620 GPU. It runs Funtouch 10.5 based on Android 10 OS out of the box. The device is equipped with 4315mah battery and supports 33W fast charging. 

In terms of optics, the Vivo X50 Pro has a quad rear camera that includes a 48-megapixel customized Sony IMX598 primary sensor with a Gimbal Camera System, an 8-megapixel super-wide-angle shooter with a 120-degree FoV, 13-megapixel bokeh shooter, and an 8-megapixel telescopic shooter that enables 60x hybrid zoom. There is a 32-megapixel front shooter in a punch-hole for selfies and video calls.

For connectivity the Vivo X50 Pro includes 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth v5.1, GPS/ A-GPS, and a USB Type-C port. The smartphone also includes an in-display fingerprint sensor. This device has also preloaded camera features including a Super Clear Night Mode, 3D Stabilization, Extreme Night Vision, Astro Mode, Super Night HDR, Motion AF Tracking, and an Instant Vlog.

As for pricing and availability, the Vivo X50 Pro is priced at Rs. 49,990 for the only 8GB + 256GB storage variant. The device has sole and Alpha Grey color options. X50 Pro is launched on 16th July in India and available for sale on 24th July but pre-bookings have been started via a host of offline and online retailers including Amazon, Reliance Digital, Croma, Flipkart, Vijay Sales, Paytm Mall, and Tata Cliq.
