Vivo Y21T was finally unveiled in India as the new budget smartphone from the Chinese Tech Giant. A few days back high resolution renders and specifications were tipped online and now the device went official today. The handset comes with a triple rear camera, fast refresh rate display, Snapdragon octa-core chipset, big battery, fast charging, and more.
Vivo Y21T features a 6.58 inches LCD display with a 90Hz fast refresh rate, Full-HD+ ( 1080 x 2408 pixels ) resolution, and 96 percent NTSC color gamut. Under the hood, the smartphone comes powered with a Snapdragon 680 octa-core chipset that comes coupled with Adreno 642L GPU. It is accompanied by 4GB of RAM with 1GB of virtual RAM support, and 128GB of internal storage with a microSD card slot expandable up to 1TB.
In terms of camera, the Vivo Y21T boasts a triple rear camera that includes a 50-megapixel primary sensor, a 2-megapixel macro sensor, and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. For selfies and video calls, the smartphone sports an 8-megapixel front-facing camera under the waterdrop notch. The handset is packed with a 5000mah battery and supports 18W fast charging.
The Vivo Y21T is running on Android 11 with Funtouch OS 12 skin on top. For connectivity, the smartphone includes 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 2.4GHz / 5GHz, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, and USB Type-C port. Sensors onboard, the handset sports an Accelerometer, Ambient light sensor, Proximity Sensor, E-compass, Virtual Gyroscope, and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. In terms of dimensions, the device measures 164.26 × 76.08 × 8.00mm and weighs 182 grams.
As for the official pricing and availability, Vivo Y21T comes in a solo configuration of 4GB + 128GB priced at Rs. 16,490. The company offered the smartphone in two color options namely Midnight Blue and Pearl White. The smartphone is currently available for purchase in offline stores only.
