Motorola is gearing up to launch a new G-series smartphone, called the Moto G52. In the latest development, renders and specifications of the device have surfaced online, courtesy of 91mobiles and Evan Blass. Codenamed "Rhode," the handset will not support 5G connectivity like its G-series siblings. Although the company has not announced anything yet, we can expect it to go official in the coming weeks.

In 2021, Motorola launched a quartet of Moto G smartphones in one go. It seems that we are going to see a lot more of the G-series this year as well, with the G22 already in the pocket and the G52 not trailing far behind. It is safe to assume that the company's tradition of overwhelming the competition with numbers will be kept alive.

The Motorola Moto G52 will bear a 6.55-inch Full-HD+ OLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate and an aspect ratio of 20:9. The smartphone will feature a centrally-aligned punch-hole cut-out, a noticeable bottom bezel, and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. On the rear, it will sport a vertical camera unit.

In terms of optics, the Motorola Moto G52 will sport a triple rear camera unit, comprising a 50MP primary shooter, an 8MP ultra-wide sensor, and a 2MP depth lens. Up front, it will have a 16MP selfie snapper. The smartphone will house a 5,000mAh battery with fast-charging support.

Under the hood, the Motorola Moto G52 is said to draw power from a Snapdragon 680 chipset, paired with up to 6GB of RAM and up to 256GB of internal storage. At the heart, it will boot Android 12-based MyUX out of the box. The smartphone will also have dual speakers, 4G connectivity, and a Type-C port.

The official pricing of the Motorola Moto G52 will be announced by Motorola at the time of its launch. However, due to the lack of 5G connectivity, we can expect it to start at around Rs. 15,000 ( approximately $198.57 United States Dollar) in India. The smartphone will be offered in Blue, White, and Black color options.
