OPPO A57 5G was announced as the new budget 5G device from the Chinese Tech Company. As for the key highlights, the smartphone comes with a fast refresh rate AMOLED display, MediaTek octa-core 5G chipset, dual rear camera, 3.5mm headphone jack, side-mounted fingerprint sensor, big battery, and more.
Oppo A57 5G flaunts a 6.56 inches IPS LCD display with an HD+ ( 1612 × 720 pixels ) resolution, 90Hz fast refresh rate, 269 PPI pixel density, 600 nits peak brightness, 100% DCI-P3 color gamut, 89.8% screen to body ratio. The smartphone is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 810 octa-core chipset that comes coupled with Mali G57 MC2 GPU. It is accompanied by 6GB/8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 128GB onboard storage.
In terms of optics, the OPPO A57 5G features a dual rear camera that includes a 13-megapixel primary sensor, and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. For selfies and video calls, the smartphone sports an 8-megapixel front-facing camera under waterdrop notch. It comes running on Android 12 out of the box with Color OS 12.1 skin on top. The handset is packed with a 5000mah battery and supports 10W charging.
For connectivity, the OPPO A57 5G includes 5G, 4G LTE, Bluetooth 5.2, Wi-Fi 5, GPS, a USB Type-C port, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. Sensors onboard, the smartphone Ambient light sensor, proximity sensor, geomagnetic sensor, acceleration sensor, gravity sensor, and side-mounted fingerprint sensor. In terms of Dimensions, the phone measures 163.8 x 75.1 x 7.99mm and weighs 186 grams.
For pricing and availability, the Oppo A57 5G comes in two configurations: 6GB + 128GB, and 8GB + 128GB priced at 1,499 yuan ( Rs. 18,000 approx ). The Chinese tech company offered the phone in three color options namely Quiet Night, Lilac, and Dark Blue. The device will go for sale on 22 April via Flipkart.
