Realme Q5 smartphone has been launched in China, as the latest addition to the Realme Q series. As for the key highlights, the handset features Snapdragon SoCs, come with triple rear cameras, and offer fast charging support with 5,000mAh batteries. The handset also runs on Android 12-based Realme UI 3.0, according to the Chinese tech company.
The Realme Q5 comes with a 120 Hz refresh rate 6.60-inch touchscreen display offering a resolution of 1080x2412 pixels (FHD+) at a pixel density of 401 pixels per inch (ppi). Under the hood, the smartphone is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 processor. It comes with 8GB of RAM. The handset runs Android 12 operating system and is powered by a 5000mAh battery. The device supports proprietary fast charging.
As for the camera department, the Realme Q5 on the rear packs a triple camera setup featuring a 50-megapixel (f/1.8) primary camera; a 2-megapixel (f/2.4) camera, and a 2-megapixel (f/2.4) camera. The rear camera setup has autofocus. It has a single front camera setup for selfies and video calls, featuring a 16-megapixel sensor with an f/2.05 aperture.
At the heart, the Realme Q5 runs realme UI 3.0 is based on Android 12 out of the box and packs 256GB of inbuilt storage that can be expanded via microSD card with a dedicated slot. The smartphone is a dual-SIM (GSM and GSM) mobile that accepts Nano-SIM and Nano-SIM cards. In terms of dimensions, the handset measures 164.30 x 75.60 x 8.50mm (height x width x thickness) and weighs 195.00 grams.
For connectivity options on the Realme Q5 include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v5.10, USB Type-C, 3G, 4G (with support for Band 40 used by some LTE networks) , and 5G with active 4G on both SIM cards. Sensors on the smartphone include accelerometer, ambient light sensor, gyroscope, proximity sensor, and fingerprint sensor. The handset was launched in Glacier Chopping Waves, Phantom, Race For Dusk, and colours.
