Vivo X80 Pro is set to launch in the global markets on May 8. The launch of the smartphone from Vivo was teased on the Vivo Malaysia Twitter page. It was launched in China recently. The device offers 6.78-inch touchscreen display, a 120 Hz refresh rate, a quad camera setup featuring, and a 4700mAh battery. It comes in three colour options.
The Vivo X80 Pro comes with a 120 Hz refresh rate 6.78-inch touchscreen display offering a resolution of 1440x3200 pixels. Under the hood, the smartphone is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor. It comes with 8GB of RAM. The handset is powered by a 4700mAh battery. The device supports proprietary fast charging.
In terms of optics, the Vivo X80 Pro on the rear packs a quad camera setup featuring a 50-megapixel (f/1.57) primary camera; a 48-megapixel (f/2.2) camera; a 12-megapixel (f/1.85) camera, and an 8-megapixel (f/3.4) camera. The rear camera setup has autofocus. It has a single front camera setup for selfies, featuring a 32-megapixel sensor with an f/2.45 aperture.
On the front software, the Vivo X80 Pro runs OriginOS Ocean is based on Android 12 out of the box and packs 256GB of inbuilt storage. The smartphone is a dual-SIM (GSM and GSM) mobile that accepts Nano-SIM and Nano-SIM cards. In terms of dimensions, the handset measures 164.57 x 75.30 x 9.10mm (height x width x thickness) and weighs 215.00 grams. It features an IP68 rating for dust and water protection.
For connectivity options on the Vivo X80 Pro smartphone include Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/ax, GPS, Bluetooth v5.20, NFC, Infrared, USB Type-C, 3G, 4G (with support for Band 40 used by some LTE networks) , and 5G. Sensors on the handset include ambient light sensor, proximity sensor, compass/ magnetometer, gyroscope, accelerometer, and in-display fingerprint sensor.
