Vivo S15e smartphone has been launched in Malaysia and China, respectively. The launch of the device from Vivo was teased on the Vivo Malaysia Twitter page. As for the key highlights, the smartphones comes with full-HD+ displays, 6.44-inch touchscreen display, a 90 Hz refresh rate, triple rear camera setups, fast charging and a 4700mAh non-removable battery.
The Vivo S15e bears a 90 Hz refresh rate 6.44-inch touchscreen display offering a resolution of 1080x2404 pixels and an aspect ratio of 20:9. Under the hood, the handset is powered by an octa-core Samsung Exynos 1080 processor. It comes with 8GB of RAM. The device is powered by a 4700mAh non-removable battery. The smartphone supports proprietary fast charging.
In terms of optics, the Vivo S15e on the rear packs a triple camera setup featuring a 50-megapixel (f/1.8) primary camera; an 8-megapixel (f/2,2) camera, and a 2-megapixel (f/2.4) camera. The rear camera setup has autofocus. It has a single front camera setup for selfies and video calls, featuring a 16-megapixel sensor with an f/2.0 aperture.
On the front software, the Vivo S15e runs OriginOS Ocean is based on Android 11 and packs 128GB of inbuilt storage. The smartphone is a dual-SIM (GSM and GSM) mobile that accepts Nano-SIM and Nano-SIM cards. In terms of dimensions, the handset measures 159.70 x 73.60 x 8.49mm (height x width x thickness) and weighs 190.80 grams.
For connectivity options on the Vivo S15e include Bluetooth v5.20, Wi-Fi, NFC, and USB Type-C. Sensors on the device include accelerometer, ambient light sensor, gyroscope, proximity sensor, and in-display fingerprint sensor. The smartphone was launched in Black, Blue, and Gold colours.
