Infinix Mobile had launched the successor to the Infinix Smart 5, the Infinix Smart 6, in India. The new smartphone is an entry-level device that is powered by a Helio A22 chipset. The handset sports a 6.82-inch IPS LCD display with HD+ resolution and packs 2GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage.
The Infinix Smart 6 comes with a 6.6-inch ISP LCD display that has an HD+ (1600×720 pixels) resolution. Additionally, the display panel has a waterdrop notch that houses the selfie camera. Powering the smartphone is a MediaTek Helio A22 chipset under the hood. The system on chip is paired with 2GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage.
On the back of the Infinix Smart 6 , there is a dual-camera setup which includes an 8MP primary camera and an AI lens. The rear camera has Auto Scene detection and photography modes such as AI HDR, Beauty, and Portrait among others. It features a 5MP camera on the front for selfies and video calls. The device has 2GB virtual RAM support. The storage can be expanded on the device up to 256GB via a microSD card slot.
In terms of software, the Infinix Smart 6 boots Android 11 Go edition-based HiOS 7.6 OS out of the box. The handset sports a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner. It features a 5,000mAh battery with supports for 10W charging. According to Infinix, the device offers up to 31 hours of battery life and 678 hours (about 29 days) of standby battery life.
As for official pricing and availability, the Infinix Smart 6 comes in two colour options—Polar Black and Heart of Ocean. The smartphone is priced at ₹7,499. The device comes in a sole 2GB RAM + 64GB storage configuration. The handset can be purchased in India starting from today exclusively on e-commerce platform website store Flipkart.
