Lenovo's sub-brand, Motorola has announced the Moto G42 in Brazil as the new 4G device along with the Moto G62 5G. As for the key highlights, the handset comes with a punch-hole display, a triple rear camera, Snapdragon 600 series 4G SoC, big battery, fast charging, USB Type-C port, NFC, and more.

Motorola Moto G42 comes with a 6.4 inches AMOLED display with Full-HD+ ( 1080 x 2400 pixels ) resolution, 60Hz refresh rate, and 20:9 aspect ratio. Under the hood, the smartphone is fueled by Snapdragon 680 octa-core chipset that comes coupled with Adreno 610 GPU. The device is accompanied by 4GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage and a microSD card slot for additional storage. 

Coming to optics, the Motorola Moto G42 features a triple rear camera that includes a 50-megapixel main sensor, an 8-megapixel ultrawide lens, and a 2-megapixel macro sensor. For selfies and video calls, the smartphone boasts a 16-megapixel selfie camera under the punch-hole at the top center. The device is packed with a 5000mah battery and supports 20W fast turbo charge technology.

The Motorola Moto G42 comes running on Android 12 out of the box with My UX skin on top. For connectivity, the smartphone includes 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 5, GPS, NFC, USB Type-C port, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. In terms of dimensions, the device measures 160.4 x 73.5 x 7.99mm and weighs around 174.5 grams. Additionally, the device comes with stereo dual speakers and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor.

Motorola Moto G42 official pricing and availability is not revealed yet and the company offered the smartphone in two color options namely rose and blue color. It is listed on the company’s official website store and on e-commerce platforms in Brazil and it is expected to launch in other markets very soon.
