Oppo A57 was announced in India as the new budget smartphone from the Chinese Tech Giant. As for the key highlights, the handset comes with a waterdrop notch display, dual rear camera, MediaTek octa-core chipset, big battery, fast charging, water resistance rating, and more.

Oppo A57 flaunts a 6.56 inches a-Si display with an HD+ ( 720 x 1612 pixels ) resolution, 60Hz refresh rate, 89.8 % screen-to-body ratio, 96 percent color gamut, Panda MN228, 600nits peak brightness, 16.7 million colors, and 269 PPI pixel density. Under the hood, the handset is powered by a MediaTek Helio G35 octa-core chipset clocked at 2.3 GHz coupled with IMG GE8320 GPU. 

The Oppo A57 features a dual rear camera that includes a 13-megapixel primary sensor with f/2.2 aperture, and a 2-megapixel mono sensor with 89 Fiel of View. For selfies, the device sports an 8-megapixel front-facing with an f/2.0 aperture. It is accompanied by up to 4GB LPDDR4X RAM and 64GB of eMMC 5.1 internal storage with a microSD card slot.

On the software front, the Oppo A57 is running on Android 11 out of the box with Color OS 12.1 skin on top. The phone is backed by a 5000mah battery and supports 33W fast charging. Sensors onboard, the device sports a Geomagnetic sensor, Light sensor, Proximity sensor, Accelerometer, Gravity Sensor, and side-mounted fingerprint sensor. 

For connectivity options, the Oppo A57 includes Wi-Fi 5, 4G LTE, Bluetooth 5.3, a USB Type-C port, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. In terms of dimensions, the smartphone measures 163.74 x 75.03 x 7.99mm and weighs 187 grams. Additionally, the device has IPX4 and IP5X water and dust resistance ratings.

As for the official pricing and availability, Oppo A57 smartphone is currently available for purchase via company's official website and Oppo online store at a price of Rs. 13,999 for 4GB + 64GB configuration. The smartphone is offered in two color options namely Glowing Green and Glowing Black.
