Oppo has unveiled a new A-series smartphone in Thailand called Oppo A77 5G. The phone was leaked recently, revealing its key specifications. As for the key highlights, the device features an LCD display, dual rear cameras, MediaTek Dimensity 810 SoC, and a 5,000mAh battery with 33W fast-charging.

The Oppo A77 5G is built around a 6.56-inch HD+ display with a 90Hz refresh rate. The panel offers a 720 x 1,612 pixels resolution, a 269 PPI, 600 nits of peak brightness, and 100 percent of the DCI-P3 color gamut. The smartphone flaunts a Glow design which is claimed to be scratch and wear-resistant.

Under the helm, an octa-core processor based on MediaTek Dimensity 810 SoC powers the Oppo A77 5G smartphone. The chipset is paired with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of onboard storage. Also, the user can expand the RAM up to 5GB using the virtual memory expansion feature.

In terms of optics, the Oppo A77 5G houses an 8MP front-facing camera for selfies and video calls. At the back, there’s a dual-camera setup consisting of a 48MP primary shooter and a 2MP sensor to measure depth. In addition to this, the device ships with a 5,000 mAh battery that supports a 33W SUPERVOOC fast charging over a USB Type-C port. 

The Oppo A77 5G offers a side-mounted fingerprint scanner to serve security. The other major specs include Android 12-based ColorOS 12.1, a 3.5mm headphone jack, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac/a/b/g/n/, Bluetooth v5.3, and more. The smartphone comes in Midnight Black and Ocean Blue color options. 

For official pricing and availability, the Oppo A77 5G arrives in a sole 6GB + 128GB storage variant that costs THB 9,999. The device will go on sale from June 10. You can purchase the smartphone via JD, Lazada and Shopee. However, there is no official words regarding the availability in other regions.
