The internet is busy talking about F4 Thailand . Remake of the Boys Over Flower series based on the Japanese comic Hana Yori Dango. A story that has been very popular among Asian drama lovers because the story has been adapted into various versions.
Hana Yori Dango was made into a live action version in Japan featuring Jun Matsumoto as Domyouji Tsukasa, Shun Oguri as Hanazawa Rui, and Mao Inoue as Makino Tsukushi. In the Korean version, the character Domyouji Tsukasa changed his name to Goo Jun Pyo, played by Lee Min Ho.
While the second lead played by Shun Oguri was replaced by Kim Hyun Joong whose Korean version was named Yoon Ji Hu. Then the female lead is Geum Jan Di, played by Goo Hye Sun. The Taiwanese version of the Boys Over Flower series, entitled Meteor Garden, is no less popular.
The Taiwanese version of F4 swept the hearts of fangirls in Indonesia with the appearance of Jerry Yan as Dao Ming Si, Vic Chou as Hua Ze Lei, and Barbie Hsu as Dong Shan Chai. Then what about the Thai F4? Produced by GMMTV, a major entertainment company headquartered in Bangkok, F4 Thailand features young stars.
The main actors of F4 Thailand include Bright Vachirawit, Win Metawin, Nani Nirunkit, and Dew Jirawat. The first teaser for this series was released on Wednesday September, 16, 2020 night and caused a stir on social media. Bright Vachirawit will play a character named Thyme.
These characters are Goo Jun Pyo/Dao Ming Si/Domyouji Tsukasa in Boys Over Flower. The son of a rich man who has three other friends and becomes the most admired and feared figure in school. In the first teaser released by GMMTV, Thyme looks like Goo Jun Pyo with slightly messy hair and a thick fur coat.
Well, Geum Jan Di/Dong Shan Chai/Makino Tsukushi in Boys Over Flower will be played by Tu Tontawan. This character in F4 Thailand is named Gorya. A poor girl who enters a luxurious school dominated by the rich and is bullied by Thyme and his gang before they fall in love. Win Metawin will play a character named Kavin.
Two supporting characters in F4 Thailand include Dew Jirawat as Ren and Nani Hirunkit as MJ who will play two of Thyme's other friends. F4 Thailand still has no broadcast date. However, news about this project has been buzzing on social media and has become one of the most discussed topics.
