South Korean drama Flower of Evil stole the public's attention when it aired in 2929. The drama, starring Lee Joon Gi to Moon Chae Won, also won many awards. Now, Flower of Evil will reportedly be adapted into an Indian series. This was confirmed by Studio Dragon as the production house.

Flower of Evil was adapted into an Indian series entitled Duranga, which means 'two shadows of lies'. The Indian series will air on 19 August 2022. The adaptation will be broadcast for 9 episodes via ZEE5, one of the largest OTT platforms in India. This project was successful because of the love of the Indian people for Korean dramas.

"The inherent similarities between the two countries that have dynamic Asian cultures are enough to make Korean content have a large fan base in India," said ZEE5. "We are delighted to be the first in India's OTT Industry to recreate Korean content. All because of the worldwide popularity of Flower of Evil," he continued.

Flower of Evil is a South Korean drama that Lee Joon Gi returns after 2 years of vacuum from the small screen.  He plays Baek Hee Sung, a husband who looks ideal to his wife, Cha Ji Won ( Moon Chae Won ) and his daughter. He works as an artist and owns a studio. But no one knows that he keeps a dark secret.

Cha Ji Won works as a homicide detective, every day always trying to uncover secrets and cases that seem endless. Until one day he conducts an investigation into an unforgivable crime case. Determined to bring the psychopath to justice, he dives deeper into the case. In the end, he discovered the fact that the villain he had been chasing was most likely always by his side.
