One more multitalented, K-Pop idol has been tested positive for Covid-19. This time it was Kang Daniel 's turn to give this unpleasant news. KONNECT Entertainment announced the artist's health condition through an official statement released today, Thursday August 18, 2022. 

Reporting from Soompi, Kang Daniel found out that he was positive for Covid-19 after carrying out a PCR test on Wednesday August 18, 2022.  Soon after, Kang Daniel automatically went into self-quarantine and stopped all previously scheduled activities for a while until his condition recovered. 

Including one of them, he canceled his appearance at the SUMMER SONIC 2022 event. The event itself is scheduled to be held on August 20 and 21 in Japan.  According to the latest information submitted by the agency, Kang Daniel is known to have no specific symptoms and has received up to the third dose of the vaccine.

For more details, the following is the contents of the official statement released by KONNECT Entertainment regarding Kang Daniel's health condition, which has just been confirmed positive for Covid-19. "Hello, this is KONNECT Entertainment.  Our artist Kang Daniel had a PCR test on August 17 before his departure to attend the SUMMER SONIC 2022 event and he was later diagnosed with Covid-19.  

It is thought he became infected while undergoing training between August 15 and 16. Kang Daniel has completed his third dose of vaccine and he currently has no specific symptoms.  All [results of] previous PCR tests carried out on August 12, 13, and 14 were negative. 

In this case, Kang Daniel will stop all schedules and focus on treatment and recovery in self-isolation according to the guidelines of the health authorities. He will not be able to appear at the SUMMER SONIC 2022 scheduled for August 20 and 21.  We will inform you about other scheduled activities later.
