MapleStory Korea released a teaser video of BTS 's Jin life as an employee through the MapleStory_KR YouTube channel on August 12, 2022. The teaser video shows some of Jin 's activities during his time as a Game Developer employee at Nexon. Through the teaser, Jin is seen doing self-introductions and visiting the seat where he will work.  

After that there is a scene of Jin taking photos for his ID card. Then also shown the moment of Jin who was making a presentation in front of other employees. Looking adorable, in the middle of the teaser Jin revealed, " I'm going out " after he realized that his job was not easy. Increasing expectations, previously MapleStory Korea has released the first teaser of Jin as a MapleStory employee. 

The first episode of Jin BTS X MapleStory will be released on August 16, 2022. Meanwhile, on August 18, 2022, the second episode will be released and on August 25, 2022 it will be released behind the scenes . Reporting from South Korean media Gametoc Hankyung on Friday August 8, 2022, Jin BTS is known to be a daily intern at the Nexon office. 

Kang Won Ki, Director of Nexon who oversaw the development of MapleStory, said, “ I am happy to be collaborating again with BTS Jin, who has shown a deep affection for MapleStory. Attention please. " Jin BTS has long been known to be a fan of one of Nexon's games, MapleStory. 

Through Jin's previous upload, he showed himself at the Symphony of MapleStory orchestra concert. Jin has also uploaded a photo of bread from a brand that is working with MapleStory characters. In 2020, MapleStory collaborated with BTS to design a special item. MAPLESTORY X BTS special content released with a total of 6 videos on MapleStory YouTube channel.

The content features RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook who are discussing to design and design a special new item in collaboration with them.
