In an interview for a recent photo shoot in Elle magazine, the cast of the Korean version of ' Money Heist ', Park Hae Soo, Yoo Ji Tae, and Jeon Jong Seo shared their thoughts on the series that is currently hot in the news. Based on the famous Spanish series 'Money Heist,' 'Money Heist: Korea - Joint Economic Area ' is about a group of robbers who join forces on a large-scale raiding mission at the Unified Korean Mint.

Yoo Ji Tae plays the Professor, the mastermind behind the robbery operation, while his crew of robbers is played by other Korean stars, including Park Hae Soo as Berlin, and Jeon Jong Seo as Tokyo. According to Soompi , Park Hae Soo and others shared their feelings about being a part of the big remake of the popular Netflix series.

One of the biggest differences between the original series and the Korean remake , Yoo Ji Tae explained that the plot of the two seasons of the original was condensed into only 12 episodes for the remake , the Korean version also only showed the necessary plot, so the plot seemed faster than the original, “Plot worth two the season from the original was condensed to just 12 episodes (for our remake).

There is no exposition after exposition, and we only convey the main plot points as necessary. There's a certain fun that comes from the fast-paced plot development." Park Hae Soo admitted that he was under some pressure to remake the series 'Money Heist' which had ruled Netflix for several weeks. The 'Squid Game' star said, "There is of course concern and pressure due to the fact that the original series received such an overwhelming response."

“But while reading the script, I could clearly see the unique difference of 'Money Heist: Korea - Joint Economic Area,' which is the fast plot of the story, and the characters make up the strength of the Korean version themselves,” continued the actor. Lastly, Jeon Jong Seo shared his thoughts on the power of their new remake. “The series does a great job of depicting what the future holds in the near future.

The situation of North Korea - South Korea adds an element of tension, and also implies unity. This two-sided situation really fills the Mint background.” The actress also noted that viewers might be surprised by the Tokyo version of the character, commenting, “I think viewers will [enter the show] imagining the free-spirited charm and Tokyo vibe of the original.

But Tokyo in our remake is calmer, and he's someone who steps up and tries to work things out. I tried to maintain a cleaner, more solitary tone [for our Tokyo version]. You can look forward to seeing a new side of Jeon Jong Seo.” 'Money Heist: Korea - Joint Economic Area' premieres on Netflix on June 24. Have you watched it?
