Song Kang, star of the drama “Forecasting Love and Weather,” will be holding a virtual live fan meeting to be hosted by Netflix. An American subscription streaming service announced that Song Kang, star of many Netflix Korean dramas such as “Love Alarm” 1 and 2, “Sweet Home” and “Nevertheless,” will be holding the live fan meet on March 4 at 8 p.m. KST (7 p.m. in the Philippines).

According to Netflix, it will air the live fan meet through the YouTube channel The Swoon where there will be Q&A with Song Kang, quiz and a glimpse of his everyday life. The virtual fan meeting will be held for one hour and will be streamed in English. The event will be available in Traditional Japanese, Chinese, Indonesian, Thai, Portuguese (Brazil), Spanish (Latin America), and Vietnamese after the live event, according to Netflix.

Song Kang is currently starring with actress Park Min-young in the Netflix and JTBC drama “Forecasting Love and Weather,” which premiered last Feb. 12, about people who work at the Korea Meteorological Administration. During the press conference for the drama, Park Min-young praised Song Kang, saying, “I feel lucky to work with an actor who is one of the most sought-after rom-com heartthrobs.

I’ve watched his previous works and thought that we could create great synergy on screen,” the Korea Times reported. Song Kang said he became nervous shooting scenes with Park Min-young. “I’ve been watching Park on TV since I was a child. I was extremely nervous while shooting our scenes together, but she was very generous.

She always asked for my opinion and listened carefully. I learned how to display more affection in romantic scenes,” said the 27-year-old actor. About playing his role in the drama, he said, “Because I play a free spirited and lively character, I contemplated on how to transform my style and looks. My unfashionable haircut looks silly. However, he becomes serious when he talks about the weather. It was exciting to embody these different facets.”
