The Netflix series The Umbrella Academy has been airing since February 15, 2019 and The Umbrella Academy season 2 has been released since July 31, 2020. The Umbrella Academy series is a comic adaptation by Gerard Way who is the vocalist of the band My Chemical Romance. The following is a synopsis of The Umbrella Academy which airs on Netflix.
The Umbrella Academy has 20 episodes of which each season has 10 episodes. Netflix's Umbrella Academy tells the story of 43 babies born to women who have no sex and have no signs of being pregnant. Pregnancy happens instantly and suddenly. A total of 7 babies out of 43 babies born were adopted by a billionaire named Sir Reginald Hargreeves.
The goal is to prepare his adopted son to become a superhero. However, one of his adopted children has no superpowers at all named Vanya. The other six children who have super powers include Luther Hargreeves (Spaceboy), Alison Hargreeves (The Rumor), Klaus Hargreeves (The Seance), Diego Hargreeves (The Kraken), The Boy (Number Five), Ben Hargreeves (The Horror).
Sir Reginald Hargreeves formed Umbrella Academy but all of his children had internal conflicts and then the whole team disbanded and split up to live separately. Lapse of 17 years later, news came that his adoptive father, Sir Reginald Hargreeves died which made all his adopted children reunite.
Hargreeves' death is full of mystery and all of his children work together to solve the riddle. In season 2, all of the Hargreeves children decide to go their separate ways after the conflict resurfaces. They didn't know if the entire family had survived the teleportation.
