Park Soo Hong was recently hospitalized. This is because the comedian became a victim of violence from his father. The news was conveyed by Park Soo Hong's attorney, Noh Jong Eon, recently. Park Soo Hong was beaten and threatened by his father while undergoing police questioning.
Park Soo Hong is scheduled to undergo cross-examination on October 4 at 10:00 South Korean time with his brother identified by the surname, Park. Park was arrested in early September 2022 on charges of embezzling KRW 11.6 billion or around Rp. 123 billion which is known to be Park Soo Hong's income.
The case was then forwarded to the prosecutor's office at the end of September 2022. Since then, Park has been investigated by the police. Park Soo Hong 's father , also identified as Park, was also present with his sister-in-law, Lee. Both were present at the scene as witnesses. In a previous statement, the father stated that he would side with Park Soo Hong's brother.
According to Noh Jong Eon's statement, Park Soo Hong 's father attacked him several times. The father also kicked and gave a verbal threat to Park Soo Hong. The father threatened to kill the comedian with a sharp weapon. "Park Soo Hong was attacked and threatened by his father while undergoing an examination by the prosecutor.
He was immediately rushed to the ER," explained Noh Jong Eon. "Park Soo Hong was attacked for not greeting his father," he continued. Park Soo Hong was then transferred to the emergency room of a nearby hospital after collapsing from severe stress and shock. However, it is reported that he was not seriously injured.
