SF9's Dawon is in the spotlight after successfully saving someone's life. He helped someone who had a heart attack while in the sauna. This news was delivered directly by FNC Entertainment as Dawon's management. On January 5, 2023, the idol saw someone having a heart attack in the sauna and called for medical attention.
He also immediately provided first aid according to what was instructed by the paramedics via telephone. So, Dawon had to cancel his participation in a number of activities with SF9. "While taking a bath in the sauna he usually goes to, Dawon saw a patient having a heart attack," said FNC Entertainment.
"Following the paramedics' instructions via telephone, Dawon tried to provide emergency first aid. After that, the patient was handed over to the medical staff who finally arrived at the location," he continued. Dawon then decided to rest. Thus, management expressed an apology to fans on behalf of the idol for not being able to attend the fan event that was supposed to be held on January 5, 2023.
"Due to the fan event with Dawon not being able to take place, we will be making a follow-up notice through Wonderwall," explained FNC Entertainment. "We ask for understanding from fans who may feel disappointed by the news of Dawon's sudden absence. We will do our best so that the idol can recover soon.
