EXO's Kai will be returning as a soloist. According to the Instagram account @ exo.media on February 2, 2023, Kai is reported to be filming his latest music video. According to him, this would be something legendary. Previously, Kai had successfully held his first offline solo concert in 3 cities in Japan.

According to SM Entertainment's official statement, the concert titled "Kai Japan Special Live 2023" was held 4 times, namely in Nagoya, Osaka and Yokohama. Kai also shared his journey in Japan through his personal Instagram. The songs on his first mini album that Kai brought to this concert were 'Mmmh', 'Nothing On Me', 'Reason' and 'Ride Or Die'.

Meanwhile, 'Peaches', 'Vanilla', and 'To Be Honest' are songs from Kai's second mini album. On the other hand, the idol, who just had a birthday on January 14, also performed EXO's song. Such as the dance title track from the first Japanese full album 'Electric Kiss', as well as the song medley of 'Love Shot', 'Tempo', 'The Eve' and 'Growl', in Kai's own style.

The concert used LED lighting that changed according to the video from the VCR and was a unique production with the audience seats in the background. Thus adding to the charm of the show. "I'm happy to meet Japanese fans through a special solo performance. Thank you for coming like this, and we will be able to meet again with new performances, so please look forward to it in the future," said Kai.

Many local residents also praised Kai's appearance from January 28-31. So the news that EXO's main dancer will be returning with a solo album has increased fans' enthusiasm. It is suspected that this album is Kai's last solo gift before he goes to the military. 2023 has indeed been a busy year for the owner of the name Kim Jongin.

Because apart from preparing solo albums and concerts, he will also return with EXO and SuperM, after having been on hiatus because the members were serving military service. "Kailo (Kai solo), I can't wait," fans wrote in the Instagram comments column @exo.media. "Get your money ready for Kai." "It's very busy right now."
