South Korean actress, Park Min Young was involved in the case that happened to her ex-boyfriend, Kang Jong Hyun. It is known that Kang was suspected of committing a crime through Bithumb, which is Korea's largest crypto exchange.
Reported by a number of Korean media, Park Min Young was banned from traveling outside Korea because she had to undergo an examination regarding the alleged crime committed by Kang Jong Hyun. She received a summons from the prosecutor as a witness and will be investigated for his involvement in the Kang Jong Hyun case.
It is known, Kang Jong Hyun is suspected of committing a number of crimes through Bithumb. Among them are manipulation of shares to cases of embezzlement of funds. Park Min Young was allegedly involved in Kang Jong Hyun's crime after the prosecutor was called to find evidence.
Kang Jong Hyun is said to have used the name Park Min Young in several financial transactions. Hook Entertainment, as Park Min Young's management, confirmed that the actress had undergone an examination regarding the case that happened to Kang Jong Hyun.
"We want to clarify a number of reports that say Park Min Young was summoned for questioning by the police and prohibited from leaving South Korea," said management. "In fact, Park Min Young was summoned for questioning on February 13 only as a witness.
