The boy group ATEEZ recently successfully completed their world tour series titled 'The Fellowship' which was held from January 2022 to March 2023, with an audience of 43,000 from all over the world. Quoting from Allkpop on Thursday March 23, 2023, after returning to South Korea , after completing concerts in 7 cities in Europe, ATEEZ held a press conference with a number of media.
On this occasion, the members shared their thoughts after successfully completing their world tour concert. Hongjoong shared, "I can imagine ATEEZ's direction and goals after this. About our future and what songs we want to hear to fans. It was a fun tour, and I was able to learn about our fans' wishes."
San shared, "Because we can directly communicate with fans, we found out what our fans like. I feel that this is a real collaboration between artists and fans." Furthermore, the members received questions about what activities they did in the midst of a busy world tour. Seonghwa replied, "I go to the hotel gym to work out.
I also like to walk around the cities we visit. Sometimes we meet fans by accident. This makes my mood better, and more motivated." Wooyoung added, "Mingi and I will connect YouTube to the TV and we watch videos explaining the history of the countries we visit, right before going to bed. The next day we discuss about the things we learned."
In this interview, ATEEZ also received questions about their group which still lacks or doesn't have hits or songs that are popular with the public. In response to this question Hongjoong shared, "This is one of the things we always think about. Even so, I think it will be difficult for ATEEZ to carry out a radical transformation just to create a 'hit song', which can satisfy the public 100%."
He continued, "We want to keep the concept that ATEEZ has, while performing music that will attract sympathy from fans around the world." San added, "Trying to satisfy the public's desires is a dilemma for us. Because we created ATEEZ's music. I think that if we keep moving forward on the path we've been on now, one day, people might start paying attention to us. "
Finally, ATEEZ shared that they will work even harder this year, and continue to show the world what kind of music and performances make up ATEEZ. Meanwhile, ATEEZ will hold a closing concert titled 'The Fellowship: Break The Wall - Anchor in Seoul' for 2 days on April 28-29 2023, at Jamsil Indoor Stadium.
