Shocking news came from Korean actor Song Jae Rim who was found dead today, Tuesday November 12, 2024. The star of the Korean drama Queen Woo passed away at the age of 39. The cause of Song Jae Rim's death still leaves a question mark.

According to Newsen's exclusive report, Song Jae Rim will be buried at Yeouido St. Mary's Funeral Home on Thursday November 14, 2024. A representative from the agency that once housed Song Jae Rim told iMBC Entertainment that his contract ended last year. His whereabouts have been unknown since then.

"We have no knowledge of his whereabouts after his exclusive contract ended last year," said a former representative of the late Song Jae Rim's agency. A number of Korean netizens are now highlighting the display name on Song Jae Rim's Instagram account @jaelim_song. 

At the top of his profile, Song Jae Rim wrote a phrase that reads, "A long journey begins." Song Jae Rim last shared a mirror selfie on Tuesday January 23, 2024. And the comments section has now been disabled. Song Jae Rim started his career as a model before entering the world of acting. 

The actor born on February 18, 1985 made his acting debut in 2009 as a supporting player in the film Actresses. After changing direction to become an actor, Song Jae Rim is known for his roles in a number of Korean dramas including The Moon Embracing The Sun, All That We Loved, Work Later Drink Now, and Cafe Minamdang.

This year, Song Jae Rim made his debut as a musical actor, starring in a work titled La Rose de Versailles. He also played one of Ji Chang Wook's brothers who wanted to marry Jeon Jong Seo in the Korean drama Queen Woo. Unexpectedly, Queen Woo would be the last Korean drama starring Song Jae Rim.

The actor who was previously under Saram Entertainment gained popularity when he was paired with Kim So Eun as a married couple on the television show We Got Married in 2014. Song Jae Rim won the Best Male Newcomer award and the two were named Best Couple at the 2014 MBC Entertainment Awards.
