NCT unit DoJaeJung opened a series of promotions for their debut mini-album titled 'Perfume' by releasing the first video trailer entitled 'Ready for Launch'. At midnight, on Tuesday March 28, 2023, a short video trailer for promoting the debut mini album 'Perfume' has successfully stolen the attention of fans.
Quoting from the NCT YouTube channel, different from the previous promotion concept which usually would share several teaser images in various concepts, NCT DoJaeJung actually started their promotion with a video trailer. The video, which lasts about two minutes and ten seconds, is packaged in a comfortable film concept. Starting from the three members introducing their respective names, to an interview that made them both surprised and excited.
When Doyoung, Jaehyun, and Jungwoo were informed that they would be traveling to the moon and performing there, the three of them began to do a lot of serious preparations. As if they were really going to appear in outer space. Starting from doing sports, preparing various items, to preparing Doyoung's neat outfits, they did everything.
Not forgetting Jungwoo, who was also ready with the astronaut-style helmet he was carrying. When the three finished packing everything and ready to go to the moon, the launch of the rocket image distracted the fans' focus as if the three were really in it. After a long journey, at the end of the video trailer, the three of them seem to set foot on what is described as the moon, with mysterious footrests on the surface of the sand.
