McDonald's has teamed up with girl group NewJeans to release their latest collaboration campaign in ten other Asian countries, excluding South Korea. Quoting from Soompi on Friday May 26, 2023, representatives of McDonald's officially announced that they would release a collaborative campaign with NewJeans in a number of other Asian countries.
The campaign, titled NewJeans Chicken Dance Campaign, will begin in June 2023. Together with NewJeans, the NewJeans Chicken Dance Challenge campaign will present a special advertisement with NewJeans which will be broadcast in 10 Asian countries. Not only that, a special chicken menu will also be offered.
The menu will vary and differ from country to country. Starting from South Korea on June 1, 2023, the McDonald's collaboration campaign with NewJeans will be present in the Philippines on June 13, 2023, Thailand on June 28, 2023, Indonesia on July 12, 2023.
Furthermore, the campaign with NewJeans and McDonald's will stop in Brunei on September 1, 2023, Malaysia on September 7, 2023, Hong Kong on October 24, 2023, and Taiwan on October 25, 2023. Meanwhile the release date in Singapore and Vietnam will be announced later.
In South Korea itself, the collaboration campaign with NewJeans will also be accompanied by the release of a new menu. The representative from McDonald's Korea said, "This campaign is led by McDonald's Korea, and will also be enjoyed by consumers in 10 other Asian countries.
