Unpleasant news came from one of the members of the boy group TXT (TOMORROW X TOGETHER), namely Soobin. The idol was announced to have experienced a decline in health and was forced to be absent from the group's activity schedule for a while.
As reported by Allkpop on Tuesday November 19, 2024, the BigHit Music agency said that Soobin recently checked his health condition at the hospital and was advised to rest for a while. The agency has also held discussions with other TXT members regarding Soobin's future activities.
They decided to prioritize their artist's health. "We have had discussions with all TXT members, including Soobin. Regarding future activities, it has been decided that prioritizing our artist's recovery is the best decision. Therefore, Soobin will be taking a break from all scheduled activities for the time being," BigHit Music explained.
Following this announcement, Soobin will not be participating in a number of TXT group activities in the near future. Including being absent from the '2024 MAMA Awards' stage where TXT is scheduled to perform on November 22, 2024, at the Kyocera Dome, Japan.
Soobin will also miss offline events with fans in Japan. As well as not attending the 'ACT: Promise Encore in Japan' concert. Soobin will also miss the fansign schedule in Shanghai, as well as being absent from all year-end stage schedules.
BigHit Music concluded their announcement letter by apologizing to fans for the unfortunate news and assuring them to help Soobin rest and recover well. "We deeply apologize for this sudden announcement and for worrying fans. Soobin will take this time to rest and recover so that he can greet fans again in a healthy condition.
And can show his best in front of fans. We will do our best and give our full support to Soobin," concluded BigHit Music. On the other hand, TXT has just made a comeback with their 7th mini album titled 'The Name Chapter: Sanctuary' and is currently promoting the title track 'Over The Moon.'
