NCT DoJaeJung will be starting their first activities outside of South Korea as a new sub-unit of NCT by attending the biggest fashion and music event ' Rakuten Girls Awards 2023 ' in Japan. Quoting from Naver on Saturday April 29, 2023, according to reports from SM Entertainment.
NCT DoJaeJung will attend the 'Rakuten Girls Awards 2023' which will be held at the Yoyogi National Stadium in Tokyo, Japan. The fashion music event will be held on May 4 2023. NCT DoJaeJung plans to present the stage action of their latest song titled 'Perfume'. Meanwhile, the 'Rakuten Girls Awards' is the biggest fashion music festival in Japan.
This event is held twice a year, since 2010. A number of well-known artists and influencers in the music and fashion industry will attend this event every year. This will be NCT DoJaeJung's first festival and first activities in Japan after being announced as NCT's new unit on April 17, 2023.
NCT DoJaeJung, featuring a musical concept with a sensual style as well as captivating vocal and visual performances, will enliven and increase the anticipation of fans at the 'Rakuten Girls Awards 2023'. Meanwhile, NCT DoJaeJung has just won their first music show trophy through their debut song 'Perfume' at the KBS weekly music event 'Music Bank' which aired on April 28, 2023.
With the first win for the song 'Perfume' this time, NCT DoJaeJung became the fastest NCT sub unit to win the fastest weekly music win trophy after their debut, in just 11 days. Not only that, NCT DoJaeJung is also the only NCT unit that has won the weekly music trophy through their debut song.
Meanwhile, NCT DoJaeJung will continue to promote on other weekly music shows such as MBC 'Music Core' on April 29, 2023, and SBS 'Inkigayo' on May 30, 2023.
