Teen Top's C.A.P recently shocked fans with his behavior while live on YouTube. He lived while smoking and threatening the fans. Through his live, C.A.P revealed that his contract with TOP Media would expire in July 2023.
C.A.P also threatened not to make a comeback with Teen Top when he read comments from fans who were uncomfortable seeing him smoking. Shortly after, TOP Media released a statement regarding C.A.P's contract with management and apologized for the idol's behavior during live.
They also confirmed that Teen Top's comeback in July 2023 will still take place. "First of all, we apologize for worrying fans and many people because of the inappropriate words and actions of our artist, C.A.P, during a live," said TOP Media. "Currently, C.A.P is contemplating the fact that he exhibited inappropriate behavior.
He is very sorry," he continued. TOP Media claimed to feel responsible for what happened. They feel the lack of management of artists is the cause of C.A.P's behavior. Management also apologized and promised to pay more attention to the artists so that the same thing would not happen in the future.
"Once again, we deeply apologize to the many people who were disappointed by the careless actions of our artists," said TOP Media. Apart from that, TOP Media also discussed contract renewal. The management confirmed that they would discuss the continuation of the Teen Top members' contracts after their comeback in July 2023.
