For Jungkook fans, today is a big celebration. As promised by BIGHIT MUSIC, on Friday July 14, 2023, the digital single of the BTS maknae entitled Seven was released. In this song, Jungkook collaborated with Latto. In Seven's digital single album, there are three audio versions provided by BIGHIT MUSIC.
One of them is an instrumental version that you can use for karaoke and record your own cover version. The other two are the 'Clean' version and the 'Explicit' or 'Naughty' version. The Clean version of Seven's song features lyrics that are radio-friendly and safe for underage fans to play and listen to. Meanwhile, the Explicit version includes harsh words in several parts of the song.
In the Clean version, the lyrics of the pre-chorus and chorus read "I'll be lovin' you right" , while in the Explicit version the same line reads "I'll be f***** you right". In Latto's rap lyrics, there are also parts that have been changed. In the Clean version Latto sings "Let's sleep in" , while in the Explicit version the lyrics become "F*** it, let's sleep in".
BTS' Jungkook song Seven was produced by Andrew Watt and Cirkut. The song was written by the duo with Jon Bellion, Theron Makiel Thomas, and Latto writing the rap lyrics. Andrew Watt is the figure behind the Senorita sung by Shawn Mendes and Camila Cabello.
Cirkut is known for creating many hits by US and UK singers including the viral ones Unholy by Sam Smith and Kim Petras. Jon Bellion previously wrote Rose BLACKPINK's On the Ground. Meanwhile, Theron Makiel Thomas is the songwriter for Man Down (Rihanna), We Can't Stop (Miley Cyrus), and About Damn Time (Lizzo).
BIGHIT MUSIC also released MV Seven featuring Han So Hee as the main star with Jungkook. It seems the two are involved in a complicated love story. Han So Hee's character in the Music Video looks annoyed and annoyed with Jungkook until he finally gives up and joins hands.
