Actor Byeon Woo Seok and actress Kim Hye Yoon have been confirmed as the leads in tvN's new romantic series entitled " Pick Up Sun Jae and Run " (title subject to change). "Pick Up Sun Jae and Run" is a drama adapted from the novel "Naeilui Euddeum" by Kim Bbang which was published in 2020.
This drama tells the story of a top celebrity who meets a tragic death at a young age. To save him, a woman travels back in time. Reporting from Allkpop on Wednesday July 19, 2023, Byeon Woo Seok plays Ryu Sun Jae, South Korea's top celebrity who has a complete package of extraordinary visuals, talent and charm.
Although he immediately rose to become a top star shortly after his debut, life as a celebrity exhausted him to the point of leading him to a miserable death. Byeon Woo Seok is an actor known through several popular dramas, including "Live Up To Your Name" "Welcome to Waikiki 2", "Seacrh: WWW", "Flower Crew: Josen Marriage Agency", "Record of Youth", and many more.
He also starred in the popular film "20th Century Girl". Meanwhile, Kim Hye Yoon plays Lim Sol, a woman who becomes a fan of Ryu Sun Jae hearing his voice on the radio. One day, he heard the news of Ryu Sun Jae's death. He is suddenly brought back to the past when Ryu Sun Jae was 19 years old.
Kim Hye Yoon is an actress known through her acting in the dramas "Sky Castle", "Secret Royal Inspector & Joy", "Snowdrop", "Cleaning Up", and many more. He starred in the film "Ditto" in 2022. The script for the drama "Pick Up Sun Jae and Run", was written by writer Lee Si Eun of "True Beauty".
