NCT 127 just celebrated their 7th debut anniversary on Friday July 7, 2023. Celebrating 7 years of their career, NCT 127 broadcasts live on the NCT 127 YouTube channel, NCT TikTok, and the idolplus website to share memories and stories of their journey with fans. At the end of the event, the members specifically shared their feelings with the fans.
One of the members, namely Doyoung, managed to steal everyone's attention by discussing the imminent military duty at their seven-year debut anniversary this time. "This is our 7th year and to be honest we have to enlist as well. This was the point in time where we also asked if we could celebrate our 8th and 9th debut anniversary.
So, the 7th debut anniversary this time is very means a lot to us," said Doyoung, as quoted from the Instagram account @nctzenarea on Saturday July 8, 2023. He continued, "I have more thoughts. Maybe the fans who like us will take a break after liking us for a while, and may not like us forever."
Doyoung continued that even though fans may come and go, and stop liking them at some point in time, he will still cherish the 7 years of memories with fans. "I think 7 years will remain in our minds, even if we change in the future. We will definitely not forget the memories of time, so I don't think there's any need to feel sorry," he added.
The idol born in 1996 closed his message by thanking the fans who have accompanied him for the last 7 years. Hearing Doyoung's outpouring of heart certainly made the fans feel sad, considering the fact that the members of NCT 127 will soon be fulfilling their mandatory military duties one by one.
