Quoting from Soompi on Sunday September 24, 2023, following the success of their debut single 'Seven' which was released last July, Jungkook BTS is finally back with a new single.
On September 23, 2023, Jungkook shared spoilers about his latest single entitled '3D' when he appeared at the 2023 Global Citizen Festival in New York, where he appeared as the headliner of the event. After he performed and left the stage, a mysterious teaser video for the new song '3D' was shown on the big screen, sparking speculation on the internet.
Shortly after that, the BIGHIT Music agency officially announced the comeback of Jungkook's latest song entitled '3D'. This song will feature Jungkook's collaboration with Jack Harlow. In their official announcement, BIGHIT Music said, "Jungkook's second solo single '3D' featuring Jack Harlow is a pop R&B genre song that intelligently represents a person's feelings about someone he can't reach."
They continued, “The presentation will be presented from a one, two, to three dimensional point of view. Get ready to look forward to a more mature side of Jungkook following the release of the song 'Seven (featuring Latto)'.” At the same time, the agency also shared 2 video teasers entitled 'Hero Film' as well as the first concept photo from BTS' Jungkook for his latest single entitled '3D'.
Jungkook's latest song '3D' featuring Jack Harlow will be officially released on September 29, 2023, at 13.00 KST. Previously, Jungkook had also shared spoilers with fans regarding his desire to release new songs and albums, shortly after he made his solo debut through the single 'Seven' last July.
Through the 'Suchwita' program with his colleague BTS' Suga, Jungkook said that he would release one more single, before releasing a mini album which is predicted to be in November 2023. "I will release one more single, then a mini album after that. I think they will be released around November this year," explained Jungkook.
