'Brick Mansions' is back at Trans TV Cinema. This action-thriller genre film will be broadcast on Tuesday October 17, 2023, at 21.00 WIB. Released in 2014, this film stars Paul Walker as the main star. As reported by IMDb, Brick Mansions was the last film that Paul successfully completed before he died in an accident in 2013.
Paul died while filming Fast & Furious 7. Apart from Paul Walker, Brick Mansions also stars David Belle, RZA, Catalina Denis and Ayisha Issa. Director Camille Delamarre is behind this film. Camille's previous works include Transporter 3, Lockout and Taken 2.
In this 90 minute film, Paul Walker plays Damien Collier. Damien is a policeman who is undercover to monitor an area that has a reputation for being a den of drug lords. 'Brick Mansions' takes place in the city of Detroit in 2018 when destruction is everywhere. Crime rates increase.
One way to create order is to build your own territory bounded by a large wall. The wall served to protect Detroit from the actions of dangerous criminals and prompted city officials to build a zone called The Projects. Police were stationed to monitor movements taking place inside and outside.
One of them is Damien. One day he met a man named Lino. Lino apparently is caught in a dangerous business with Tremaine Alexander, a drug lord outside The Projects. Tremaine was furious with Lino and kidnapped his lover. He hopes that the police can arrest Tremaine.
However, a number of police have silenced Tremaine even though they know he has a reputation as the biggest drug dealer. Damien then tried to reveal the bad behavior of the police.
