The boy group NCT 127 has just held the opening concert for their third world tour series entitled 'Neo City: The Unity ' at the KSPO Dome, on November 17-19, 2023. The concert, which will be held for 6 consecutive days, has now been released successfully held for 3 days in the first week of implementation.
Quoting from The Korean Herald on Monday November 20, 2023, for this third concert match, NCT 127 specifically implemented a concept with a futuristic city theme as the stage setting. Attended by thousands of enthusiastic fans, the 'Neo City: The Unity' concert opened with a performance of the song 'Punch' from the repackage of their second album.
Followed by the performance of the song 'Superhuman' which was specifically a request from fans when the members of NCT 127 asked for their opinions on what song they would like to see in the concert. NCT 127, who is famous for their energetic and powerful performances on stage, appeared stunning with a super cool set of lights and stage for the 'Neo City: The Unity' concert this time.
Taeyong, leader of NCT 127, specifically revealed that the stage concept for their concert this time was inspired by the film 'Matrix' with a futuristic theme. “We were inspired by the film 'Matrix' when planning this concert. "That's why we also performed the songs 'Punch' and 'Superhuman'," explained Taeyong.
Fans can also watch the performance of NCT 127 members on the stage which moves up and down, and the stage lights play super cool. Especially for the stage for the song 'Fire Truck', NCT 127 performed optimally by presenting two fire trucks directly on stage.
Not only did they stimulate fans' enthusiasm and adrenaline with upbeat songs , NCT 127 also pampered fans with their melodious vocals through a number of performances of slower b-side songs. Like the songs 'Gold Dust' and 'Fly Away With Me' which successfully invite the emotional side.
Not to forget, mainstay songs such as 'Kick It', '2 Baddies', and the latest song from their fifth full album 'Fact Check' were also performed to hit the KSPO Dome stage which was filled with cheers and waving neon green lightsticks.
NCT 127 closed their concert performance by wearing a denim outfit according to the dress code they promised to fans for the first week of performances. Meanwhile, the 'Neo City: The Unity' concert will continue in the 2nd week from November 24-26, 2023, at KSPO Dome, Seoul.
