Choo Young Woo recently had an interview with local media after his two dramas titled "The Trauma Code: Heroes on Call" and "The Tale of Lady Ok" officially ended. The actor also responded to criticism resulting from following problematic accounts.

Regarding this, Young Woo stated that this controversy was an opportunity for him to calm down again. "I've always been interested in reels and shorts. Following those people is not something I do with any special intention," he said.

However, Young Woo still apologized if his actions hurt people. "I apologize if viewers feel uncomfortable. I will be more careful with my words and actions in the future," added Young Woo. Young Woo was also asked if there was anything he was worried about after gaining popularity.

"I'm a celebrity for the first time, so I have a lot to learn," the actor said, drawing laughter. Young Woo continued, "As a celebrity, there are many things I need to know and many things I need to be responsible for. I think I need to be more careful because I receive a lot of attention and love."

Previously, netizens noticed that Young Woo was following quite problematic people on Instagram. First, the actor followed rapper Jung Sang Soo, who is known for controversial scandals such as driving under the influence (DUI).

Rapper Sang Soo has also been accused of drunken assault, altercations with police officers, and sexual harassment through his rap lyrics. The rapper is also known to support right-wing civil society activist groups, pro-Yoon Seok Yeol groups, and anti-feminist groups.

Young Woo also follows game streamer KUBIN, a figure known for his provocative content. KUBIN often makes YouTube content with titles such as, "Secretly putting ?? in your underwear while sleeping" to "How to do XX without skinship".

However, Young Woo allegedly immediately deleted his tracks after his Instagram following was questioned. The actor began unfollowing Instagram accounts whose owners were considered problematic by the public. Even so, Young Woo still received criticism from netizens.

Meanwhile, Young Woo's acting in "The Trauma Code: Heroes on Call" and "The Tale of Lady Ok" has won praise from the audience. Although aired at the same time, the actor acted well so that the audience did not feel confused about the two roles he starred in.
