BTS's J-Hope is preparing to make a solo comeback in March 2025. The musician will release a solo music project after completing his mandatory military service in October 2024. News of the comeback from the musician whose full name is Jung Ho-seok was reported by Korean media TENASIA.
BIGHIT MUSIC as the agency that houses all BTS members confirmed that J-Hope is preparing to release new music in March 2025. "J-Hope is preparing with the aim of releasing new music in March. We will announce the official comeback date at a different time," said BIGHIT MUSIC, reported by Newsen via Naver on Thursday February 6, 2025.
The upcoming comeback will be one of several new music projects for J-Hope throughout 2025. The BTS member previously announced a world tour titled HOPE ON THE STAGE. The Hope on the Stage solo tour will start at KSPO Dome, Seoul, for three days from February 28 to March 1-2, 2025. The opening concert will also be broadcast live.
J-Hope will also greet his fans in Jakarta through the tour, namely on May 3 and 4, 2025. The concert will be held at the Indonesia Arena GBK, Jakarta. J-Hope is scheduled to visit several major cities in the United States and Mexico, such as Brooklyn, Chicago, San Antonio, Oakland, Los Angeles, and a concert at the Palacio De Los Deportes, Mexico City, on March 22-23, 2025.
J-Hope's tour then moved to the Asian region, starting from Manila, Saitama, Singapore, Bangkok, Macau, Taipei, to Osaka. J-Hope did a number of these activities after the idol completed his military service on October 17, 2024. He was officially discharged after serving 18 months of military service and became the second BTS member, after Jin, to complete it.
J-Hope previously enlisted in the military in April 2023 and served as an assistant drill instructor after his basic training. Meanwhile, the other five BTS members are still completing their military service and are expected to complete their military service by June 2025. After all BTS members have completed their duties, BTS is planned to unite and actively carry out activities as a group in 2025.
