Not long ago, SM Entertainment announced that one of the RIIZE members, Seunghan, would be on hiatus indefinitely. This is related to content from Seunghan's past which was leaked on the internet and became a polemic among fans and the public.
RIIZE is now continuing their activities with six members. RIIZE is scheduled to appear at MAMA 2023 which will be held in Tokyo, Japan, in the middle of this week. This is the first official schedule for SM Entertainment's youngest boyband without Seunghan.
One of the RIIZE members, Sungchan, finally opened his voice after the announcement of Seunghan's hiatus. He warmly greeted fans via the Weverse platform recently. "Hi BRIIZE, this is Sungchan. How was your day?" opened Sungchan in his writing.
As if he wanted to move on and not get too caught up in Seunghan's problems, Sungchan invited fans to focus on RIIZE's next activities. As leaked by the former NCT member, RIIZE has prepared many things to show during the rest of this year. Sungchan indicated that RIIZE will appear at many end-of-year events.
Fans can also anticipate various performances of songs that RIIZE has released since its debut until the end of this year. "I hope you guys are having a good day. This week, we did a lot of preparation for the year-end stages and awards shows. Then there were days I felt physically and mentally exhausted.
But no matter what happened, I felt better when thinking about BRIIZE," wrote Sungchan again. He then reminded fans to take care of their health in winter and not forget to rest, eat and don't sleep too late. Sungchan also promised that they would be able to meet face to face sooner or later.
